Bruce Bowman and I were anxious to fly fish Tarpon after a prolonged cold front took the temps to the high 30's here in Naples. The first warm day after the cold front we headed out. We suspected the Tarpon would be hungry as soon as the water warmed and the first cast I made produced a hungry Silver Prince. Bruce landed a beauty as well. After being skunked for several days, we believe the post cold front timing may have been the reason for our success.
