October 28, 2005 Naples

Marcel is fly fishing in the Naples area and is from The Netherlands. We've been fishing together for two or three days after Hurricane Wilma and today, we had some good luck at the Pass. The water clarity is clearing and there are a variety of baitfish in a wide range of size and they are being chased by their larger cousins, the Snook and the Jack. We waded the best areas and landed three fish, but we had lots of chances at many others and that kept us focused for 4 hours on the outgoing tide. I think we'll get back to the Pass, but Marcel wants a shot at those "Trail Tarpon" so that will be pulling on us too.
